Since its inception in 1946, the International Journal has been recognized as Canada's pre-eminent scholarly publication on international relations. Readers benefit from wide-ranging research and analysis by scholars, practitioners, and policy-makers, Canadian and non-Canadian.
Strategic Datalink, published by the Canadian Institute of Strategic Studies (CISS) since 1988, is now a publication of the CIC. Each Strategic Datalink is a concise and insightful analytical paper that explores timely, policy-relevant international security issues, particularly those strategic issues that are of relevance to Canadian security.

The CIC publishes reports from its conferences, workshops and events across Canada.
Discontinued publication:
Behind the Headlines, published by the Canadian Institute of International Affairs since 1940, was a publication of the CIC until its culmination in 2008. Articles in this series dealt with important international issues, with an emphasis on their implications for Canada, and are intended for a general rather than specialized audience.
Articles available for download from www.canadianinternationalcouncil.org are available for free for individual use and research. Commercial and academic usage of any article (including Behind the Headlines and International Insights) are subject to a base fee of five cents per page per copy. Please contact the editors for permission. Failure to do so will result in copyright infringement and will be subject to legal action.
