Jonathan Hausman is Vice-President, Alternative Investments and Emerging Markets at the Ontario Teachers' Pension Plan (Teachers’).

He is also Vice Chairman of the Canadian Council for the Americas, and a lecturer on global capital markets and international political economy in the Commerce Program at the Rotman School of Management.

Prior to joining Teachers’, Mr. Hausman was Executive Director at Goldman Sachs, where he held positions in its New York, London and Hong Kong offices managing sovereign risk strategy and advising government clients on their external financings and international credit ratings. His clients included the Republic of South Africa, the Republic of Korea and the People's Republic of China. Before beginning his career in international finance, Mr. Hausman worked as Special Assistant to the Premier of the Province of Ontario. He holds a Bachelor of Arts from McGill University, a Master of Science from the London School of Economics, and a graduate degree in Public Administration (MPA) from the School of International and Public Affairs at Columbia University. Mr. Hausman is a native of Toronto and lives in the city with his wife and two daughters.
